This 1951 Ford Country Squire Woody wagon is presented in Hawthorne Green with redone chrome trim over brown interior. This wagon is powered by a Ford 239ci Flathead V8 engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It’s equipped with Fenton exhaust headers leading into a dual 2” exhaust with crossover and Smitty's glasspack mufflers, Jamco coil springs and torsion bars, Teflon-lined rear leaf springs, black steel wheels with chrome trim and whitewall tires.
The custom surfboard rack is complete with a vintage-style plywood surfboard. Adding to its looks are the original and period-correct decals on the driver’s side rear glass, and all-new maple wood. The interior features correct upholstery, wood-grain dash with in-dash clock and radio, clean glass and fresh components throughout. This Woody was featured on the cover of Hemmings Classic Car, issue #12 in September 2005 and was previously owned and displayed by Ford in the Ford Museum until the early 2000s. It was originally owned by a California surfer before being purchased by Ford Motor Company.
